The sushi here is delicious for what it is. It's not the fancy elevated sushi you can get at other places but the sushi they do offer is delicious. That's not a knock on this place just setting expectations. The staff has been friendly every time I have been there. The price is awesome specially when everything seems to be going up and up.
Akai Asian Bristo consistently brings fresh rolls that have fresh and delicious ingredients. I have ordered takeout twice in the last week and I am nothing short of amazed. The service is quick and friendly. The food is yummy and you get great portions. The price is reasonable and I don't have to go far when I need my sushi fix. I have had the Poseidon roll, the sun kissed roll m, and the Akai roll. Can't decide which one is my favorite, but one thing is for sure, I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Spicy miso ramen. I asked for the pork well done. Perfection! I love that we finally have a sushi and ramen spot in the area. It's nice to be able enjoy variety like this locally. The California Rolls are still on special for $4.99!!! Can't beat that. Good stuff. Come try it!

When I say hidden gem, i really do mean it is such an amazing 5-star service. So friendly welcoming. The manager, Micheal, assisted us, started by introducing himself, and made helpful tips with the rolls and food amount for our return. Gabriel was attentive when it came to bringing us our requests like more napkins and fresh lemon wedges. AND Michael's food requests were exactly what I was craving. Thank you for the amazing experience. I will definitely be bringing more people to try this place.
We love this neighborhood place! We work a few blocks away and we heard about it through a coworker and it has been the best recommendation. All the staff are very attentive and friendly. But the foooood! It's delicious. The spicy chicken with a side of rice, double crunch and the Poseidon roll are to die for! We met Mike whom is making great changes to the menu like the spring rolls and agua fresco (Jamaica). We finished it off with matcha green tea ice cream! So soft and creamy! The fact that they speak Spanish is a plus! This is a must place to visit if you're in the area!
